In 2022, I started a research project centered around the theme of displacement (physically, linguistically and culturally), questioning modes of knowledge production and representation, colonial archival practices and legacies of imperial violence. In this ongoing research and particularly this body of work, I engaged with a large collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art excavated from Iran between 1967- 1978 among other artistic explorations.
